United Front the 4th is the eighty-seventh Extra Ops introduced in Metal Slug Attack.
Story[]
Dragunov calls Owen for help with finding out what the high echelons of the Ptolemaic Army are up to - she wants him to spy on Mira. Owen helps her, telling Dragunov that he recruited "someone weird" during his campaign.
Elsewhere, Midori shows the Golden Slug Gigant to Marco. Marco goes on a solo mission to destroy the Rebel Army base - since it's painted gold (referring to the past three United Fronts), he intends to use it as a Trojan Horse to enter the Rebel base. Tarma is worried with his friend's safety and authorizes a larger scale of the ops to ensure that Marco comes out alive.
Marco causes havoc in the Rebel Base, with the enemy soldiers seemingly unaware of the golden Slug Gigant. Owen also arrives on base and notices black flames, which indicates that Mira is around. However, with the golden Slug Gigant in his way, he prepares to knock it out of his path. Marco notices that Owen is not part of the Rebel Army and tells him to leave; however, Owen is only interested in completing his mission, so Marco is forced to fight him.
Owen easily destroys the Gold Slug Gigant, and prepares to finish off Marco. However, he sees the black flames again, and spares him as a result, since his primary objective is to investigate Mira. Mira senses Owen's presence and knows what he is here for. Back at camp, Marco returns to his friends, and Tarma excuses himself. He thanks the volunteers for ensuring Marco's safety.
